The Completed Project
This recent project in Shrewsbury transformed our customer’s outdoor space into a bright, modern conservatory that blends beautifully with the existing home. The new structure features floor-to-roof glass panels, allowing light to flood the room and providing an uninterrupted connection to the garden. A lean-to roof was designed to match the pitch of the adjoining garage, creating a cohesive and considered appearance.
To complete the upgrade, we installed new patio doors leading into the conservatory along with flush-casement windows from our popular Wodehouse range. These windows offer the character and charm of traditional timber while delivering the low-maintenance benefits of modern materials — a far more attractive finish than standard white uPVC.
The Build Process
Our team began by preparing and constructing a robust conservatory base designed for long-term durability. Once the groundwork was complete, we installed the full-height glass panels and lean-to roof, ensuring the pitch aligned perfectly with the existing garage roofline for a seamless integration with the property.
We then fitted new patio doors to create an easy flow between the home and the conservatory, followed by the installation of the Wodehouse flush-casement windows. Each frame was fitted with care to achieve clean sightlines and a timber-like aesthetic that complements the overall design. The project was completed with a thorough quality check, leaving the customer with a bright, warm and practical new living space ready to enjoy all year round.
